The Clash (1st Album) Overview
Before the Clash it was not done for a song called "Career Opportunities" ("Jobs"). This was done even less to say than they had nothing to fuck jobs and everything that the capital had to offer. It was not done so not addition to recording an album in two or three weekends. The time had it good, after the symbolic murder of fathers (Elvis, Stones and Beatles), we could do whatever they wanted, even and especially what was not done: give to a beginner bass dub crazy, advocating violent riot, take a tube recent reggae ("Police & Thieves") and give a long version stripped and abrasive. The Clash were stylists: striped shirts at the Pollock arrangements of guitar, everything was considered, weighed, clumsily and sometimes naive, but with undeniable sincerity. It can be said of the Sex Pistols, manipulated at will by an evil manager. Revolutions, alas, often benefit more cynical than utopian. It is this album which originally was thirty-three revolutions per minute. Became a CD, it spins faster and burn more. - Hubert DeshouseAvailability: Usually dispatched 1-2 days
